What We Do
Thank you for visiting the Child Welfare Information System Training website!
In an effort to strengthen the partnership between State and Federal Child Welfare program partners, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Children’s Bureau sponsors national, regional and web-based technology training opportunities each year through a contract with the State Information Technology Consortium (SITC). This website serves as a repository of training materials and information that are products of these Federally sponsored training events. It is specifically dedicated to providing on-demand technical training resources to help States and other government entities who are working to plan, design, develop, implement, enhance, and maintain Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS).
